Each completed check deducts its listed price. Everyone in the workspace uses the same funds in the Console and through the API. Failed checks are free.

See your invoices
Every top-up comes with a Stripe invoice in the Console, and business customers can add a tax ID at checkout.
Prices are in US dollars. Stripe calculates any applicable tax at checkout. Failed checks are not charged.
Spend control
Stay in control of what you spend.
You always see what you have spent. Nothing renews and nothing is charged in the background.
Low-balance alerts
On by default. Workspace owners and admins get an email before funds run out.
Auto-recharge
Optional. Top up from a saved card when the balance falls below a level you set.
Spend limit per key
Set a monthly spend limit on each API key, so one integration cannot use the whole balance.
Security and data handling
Files are deleted and text is not stored.
The API follows the same data practices as the website.

- Keys are created and revoked in the Console, and request logs show how each key was used

Report ID
Store the report ID next to your own case or customer record.
Fingerprints and timestamp
SHA-256 fingerprints and an RFC 3161 timestamp are recorded with each report.
Public verification page
Anyone you share the report ID with can confirm it on the verification page, without an account.

The API is described by a published OpenAPI document, so you can generate clients and validate responses.

Keys are bearer tokens that you create in the Console. Keep them on your server.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to write code to use it?
No. The Console lets you add funds and run image, document and text checks in the browser, with the same login as the website. The API is for sending checks from your own systems.
Can I try it without paying?
Yes. Your first workspace starts with 5 free image or document checks and 5,000 free text characters, and no card is needed. There is one free start per person and a limited number per company email domain, so invite teammates to your workspace instead of signing up separately. Test keys return fixed sample results and are never charged, so you can build the integration first.
How accurate are the results?
Results are evidence for a human review, not a verdict. Every report states how strong the evidence is, what could not be examined and what to do next. The accuracy guides linked under these questions explain how to read results and where false positives come from.
Is this the same balance as the credits on the website?
No. The workspace balance used by the Console and the API is separate from the credits you buy on the website. Credits apply only to reports you run on fileverity.com.
Do I get invoices, and can I add a tax ID?
Yes. Every top-up comes with an invoice, and business customers can add a tax ID at checkout. Stripe calculates any applicable tax from your billing address.
How do I avoid running out of balance?
Low-balance alerts are on by default and email your workspace owners and admins. Turn on auto-recharge to top up from a saved card, and set a monthly spend limit on each API key.
What happens if a check fails or my balance runs out?
A check that fails is not charged. When the balance cannot cover a check, the request returns insufficient_balance and nothing is charged until you add funds.
Does the workspace balance expire, and can I get a refund?
The balance stays valid for 12 months after your latest top-up, and every top-up extends the whole balance. Top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in your agreement.
Are results returned in the same request?
Text results come back in the response. Image and document checks take two steps: upload the file, then start the check. Send Prefer: wait to receive the result in the same request, or use a webhook to be notified when it is ready.
What does a text check accept?
Plain text in English, French, German, Spanish or Chinese, from 100 words up to 100,000 characters per request. The language is detected automatically if you do not set it.
How long are files and results kept?
Uploaded files are deleted after analysis, submitted text is not stored, and results are kept for 7 days.
Do you offer a data processing agreement?
Yes. A data processing agreement is available on request and is included with Enterprise.
When do I need Enterprise?
When you want volume pricing, a private on-premises or fully offline deployment, or a custom integration. Everything else is self-serve.
