This policy explains how Entogo Inc. ("Entogo", "we") handles personal information when you visit fileverity.com or use the Fileverity service. Entogo is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Information we collect
Contact information you send us, such as your name, email address, company and the content of your message.
Files you submit for verification, together with the analysis results we produce.
Technical information needed to operate the website, such as IP address, browser type and request logs. We measure site performance and usage without advertising cookies.
If you create an account, your email address, the number of free checks you have used and, for each signed-in session, the IP address and browser type. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name, your email address, whether Google has verified it and your Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password, we do not keep Google access tokens and we do not use your profile photo.
How we use information
To provide the verification service, generate reports and allow reports to be verified later.
To respond to inquiries, provide support and manage customer accounts.
To secure the service, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Information we receive from Google is used only to sign you in and manage your account. It is not sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Files submitted for verification
Submitted files are processed to produce an analysis and are then deleted. When we issue a report, we keep a verification record so that anyone who receives the report can confirm it: the report ID, the time of issue, the type of check, the file’s cryptographic hash, the overall result, and fingerprints of the report and its thumbnail. We do not keep the image or the full report.
Submitted files are not used to train or tune our models and are not shared with third parties except the service providers that host our infrastructure.
Cookies
We use one functional cookie to remember your language choice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
When you sign in, we set a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary for the account to work and is removed when you sign out or after 30 days.
Service providers and transfers
We use service providers for hosting, content delivery and network security, including Vercel and Cloudflare. They process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Data may be processed in Canada, the United States and other countries where these providers operate.
Where personal information collected in mainland China is transferred abroad, we rely on a mechanism recognized under the PIPL, such as standard contract clauses, and inform the individuals concerned as the law requires.
Retention
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain the business relationship. Report verification records are kept for as long as reports may need to be verified, or as agreed with the customer or required by law. Submitted files are deleted after analysis.
Account data is kept while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to withdraw consent and to object to certain processing. This includes rights under PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25, the GDPR and China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).
To make a request, email privacy@fileverity.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
If you signed in with Google, you can also remove Fileverity’s access at any time in your Google Account under Security, Third-party apps and services.
